The Anti-Narcotics Department thwarted an attempt on Sunday to smuggle over 100,000 Captagon pills into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via the Nasib border crossing.
In a statement, the department reported that the shipment—discovered with the assistance of K-9 units—was concealed inside the spare tire of a refrigerated truck bound for Saudi Arabia.
The operation resulted in the seizure of the contraband, the arrest of the individual involved, the formal confiscation of the seized items, and the referral of the suspect to the competent authorities for the completion of necessary legal proceedings.
