Daraa, Oct. 17 (SANA) A two-vehicle Israeli occupation force advanced into Wadi al-Raqad area in the western countryside of Daraa on Saturday.
SANA reporter said that the incursion coincided with Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flying over the western area of Yarmouk Basin. No attacks or arrests had been reported at the time of reporting.
On Friday, Israeli occupation forces advanced into an area west of al-Razaniyah farm in the Quneitra countryside and opened fire toward shepherds to prevent them from grazing their livestock before withdrawing.
Thus followed an incursion into the town of Abdeen in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside, where the forces surrounded the town.
Israeli forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes, detentions, land bulldozing and attacks involving shelling.
Syria has repeatedly called for Israeli occupation forces to withdraw from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by Israel are null and void and have no legal effect under international law.
It has also urged the international community to assume its responsibilities and compel Israel to withdraw fully from southern Syria.
