Qaryatayn people bury 43 bodies tortured to death by Assad security

 (Zaman Al Wasl)- 43 bodies of detainees tortured to death by Syrian security forces were delivered to their families in al-Qaryatayn town, 85 km southeast Homs city, activists said on Friday.

Locals of the desert town said its first time ever regime publicly delivered this big number of rebels and civilians killed in its torture chambers.

The victims who were arrested in different periods, seem to be killed in one time, according to sources.

Activists said regime wants to retaliate for its humiliating defeats inflicted by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria in the eastern region of Homs as ISIS fighters are pressing advances in the nearby al-Sha’er gas field.
