Syrian Army had expelled Assad's troops and Hezbollah militants from North
Aleppo after fierce clashes inflicted heavy losses to the Assad regime,
Commander of the Military Council in Aleppo told Zaman Alwasl.
Colonel
Abdul-Jabbar al-Aqidi denied arming claims and emphasized on the daily progress
of FSA in north Aleppo. ''Media neglected that; it didn't show the real truth,
they focus only about the extremist groups now in try to defame FSA.'' Aqidi
said
According to the attempts of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) to establish local administration in the north, Col. Aqidi said he appreciated the Kurdish people so much, stressing the Arab-Kurdish brotherhood, at the same time pointing out that this approach does not serve the revolution and the Syrian community.
More
than 93,000 people have been killed since the Syria crisis started in March
2011, according to the United Nations, as largely peaceful protests against
Assad's rule. It escalated into a civil war after opposition supporters took up
arms to fight a brutal government crackdown on dissent.
