CAIRO (WAM)- The Arab League (AL) on Sunday welcomed the decision taken by the government of the United Arab Emirates to add a number of organisations, including the Muslim Brotherhood and its local affiliates, to its list of terrorist organisations.
Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al Araby, in a statement to WAM, said the pan-Arab organisation supports the UAE's move, in light of the increase in terrorism threatening the region.
He noted that Egypt has already taken similar measures. The UAE Cabinet approved a list of designated terrorist organisations and groups, while implementing Federal Law No.7 for 2014 on combating terrorist crimes.
