Aleppo: IED kills 3 Hazm fighters, commander escaped

 (Zaman Al Wasl)- Three fighters of the West-backed rebel group, Hazm movement, were killed on Thursday when an IED exploded in their car in Aleppo countryside, activists and monitoring groups said.

Thaer Akkoush, the commander of security battalion in Hazm movement, has escaped the assassination attempt carried out by unknown armed group, but 3 of his fighters have been killed, Zaman al-Wasl reporter said.

Last month has witnessed unprecedented killing toll of moderate rebels by al-Qaeda’s Syria wing al-Nusra Front.

The Nusra Front has attacked fighters of Syria Revolutionaries’ Front and Hazm in Idlib countryside, taking control of their strongholds and U.S.-supplied weapons.
