(Zaman Al Wasl)- Ahmed Tomeh’s new government finally will see the light after three days of give-and-take among the political blocs of key opposition group National Coalition.
The last 72 hours witnessed sharp hassles among the NC members, who met in their regular meeting in Istanbul, to discuss Tomeh's proposed formation for the new cabinet.
Tomeh wanted to bring back to the scene the stubborn general Salim Idriss to lead defence ministry after a series of disputes over his former leadership to the Supreme Military Council of Free Syrian Army. A step faced by discontent by many but according to the final list obtained by Zaman Al Wasl, Tomeh achieved the finish.
The Interim prime minister, also, wanted to keep four ministers from the caretaker government in his new one and to add foreign and the interior portfolios.
In his turn, Hadi al-Bahra, Head of the Coalition called on the members to avoid polarization and partisan loyalties in order to form a new government.
