(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels and Islamist fighters on Wednesday thwarted regime’s attack on Sheikh Miskeen town in Daraa province, killing and wounding dozens, opposition media feeds said.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the clashes still ongoing between Bashar al-Assad’s forces and al-Qaeda’s Syria wing in Daraa province.
In footage circulated online, rebels showed corpses purportedly for Shiite militants of Hezbollah and Iranian Republican Guards killed during the attack on in the strategic town.
The Observatory, also, said 4 Nusra Front fighters, including Saudi jihadist, were killed during the clashes of Sheikh Miskeen.
