Clashes renew between Nusra Front, Jamal Maarouf fighters in Idlib

(Zaman Al Wasl)- The clashes between Al-Qaeda's Syria wing Nusra Front and Syria revolutionaries’ Front have been renewed on Thursday in Ma’rret Harmeh town in Idlib countryside, field sources said.

Nusra Front, in statement posted online, said that mediation efforts to halt infighting with Jamal Maarouf have been failed, assuring to resume fighting.

Nusra said “the Front has exhausted all solutions” in order to end the conflict with Syria revolutionaries’ Front.

The militant group says it will keep fighting since all reconciliation talks carried out by Shariah court and monitoring units have been failed.

Last month witnessed humiliating defeat inflicted by Nusra Front on the West-backed group, ended by expelling Maarouf from his stronghold in Deir Sinbul in Idlib countryside.
