Explosive device kills senior Islam Army commander

(Zaman Al Wasl) – Senior rebel commander in Islam Army has been killed when an explosive device detonated near his car in Dumeir city, 30 miles east Damascus on Wednesday.

Ahmed Farhan al-Lahham, was the first Syrian army defector in the desert city which situated on the fringe of Eastern Ghouta.

Last few months a series of assassination has been targeting Islam Army commanders in Eastern Ghouta and in the areas it controls.
