BEIRUT: Two Syrian children died Saturday morning after suffocating from a fire that erupted in their home in the Bekaa Valley, the National News Agency said.
The two Syrian girls were identified as Ayah, 5, and her younger sister, four-year-old Hala, who were in their house in Bar Elias when the fire started.
The NNA reported that the cause of the fire was most likely a candle, which burned the entire house down while the two girls were inside.
