(Zaman Al Wasl)- The Islamic State has controlled on Tuesday many barriers of regime and the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in villages of Abu Qasayeb, Tal Ghazal, Kharab Askar in the Southern countryside of of Qamishli and Hasakah, after severe clashes in which heavy and medium arms were used.
Malaz al-Yousef, an activist, told Zaman al-Wasl that the Islamic State had surprised the regime’s forces and sneaked via abu Qasayeb, the most important barrier and attacked barriers at Tal Ghazal resulted in killing all soldiers there.
The Islamic State mentioned that more than 50 members from regime’s and the Democratic Union Party’s forces were killed and captured, among them two Lieutenants from the Syrian army, and capturing 5 vehicle from the PYD.
On the other hand, the PYD’s issued a statement and mentioned that 4 of its members were killed in fighting with the Islamic State around Abo Qasayeb village which continued till Tuesday morning.
The Syrian regime sources mentioned that they with the help of the public Defence Militias have stopped an attack by the Islamic State at military points around villages of Sharmokh and Abo Qasayeb after the attack on Tal Ghazal.
In the same time, clashes between the Islamic State and the Democratic Union Party supported by Al-Karama army in al-Amara village around Jazaa. Heavy displacement of people from villages of Eastern Palestine and Western Palestine, and Wael near the Iraqi boarders after the clashed became closer to them.
Moreover, heavy fighting took place between IS and the regime forces when the ‘State’ has advanced toward Hawooz village at the way between Hasakah and Tal Tamer at the Western countryside of Hasakah.
