Assad airstrikes kill dozens in Raqqa, Douma, Daraa


(Syrian Observatory for Human Rights)- The number of people who died due to aerial attacks carried out by Bashar al-Assad helicopters and warplanes has risen to 29 at least.

14 people at least, including 3 women and 5 children, killed by aerial bombardment carried out by the refime warplanes on different areas in the city of al- Raqqa. The warplanes also killed 6 people in the city of Douma in the Eastern Ghouta, including 4 children, and 3 people in the city of al- Bab in the eastern northern countryside of Aleppo.

In addition to, SOHR could document death of 5 people due to dropping barrel bombs on the town of Sfohen in al- Zaweyi Mountain in the province of Idlib and death of a citizen by the barrel bombs on the town of Da’el in the countryside of Daraa.

It is expected that the death toll will rise because there are people who were seriously injured or still missing under rubble.

More than 200,000 people have been killed in Syria since the revolution began in March 2011.
