(Zaman Al Wasl)- Al-Qaeda’s Syria wing Nusra Front reached an agreement with ‘Yarmouk Martyrs’ brigade to end days of heavy clashes in Daraa province, Zaman al-Wasl reporter said on Thursday.
The infighting between key rebel groups in Daraa erupted when the Nusra Front accused ‘Yarmouk Martyrs’ of pledging allegiance to the Islamic State group.
The 'ceasefire' was an outcome of other Islamist groups’ mediation who urged both parties to fight the main enemy (Bashar al-Assad) and to avoid discords.
