Daraa: rebel commander turns himself in to court over clashes with Nusra

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Commander of Yarmouk Martyrs brigade on Friday turned himself in to the rebels’ Justice House in Daraa province over an agreement to end infighting between his group and al-Qaeda’s Syria wing Nusra Front, Zaman al-Wasl sources said.

The Islamic court will investigate in the bloody clashes erupted between key rebel group in the Syrian south last two week when the Nusra Front accused ‘Yarmouk Martyrs’ of pledging allegiance to the Islamic State group (IS).

The 'ceasefire' was an outcome of other Islamist groups’ mediation who urged both parties to fight the main enemy (Bashar al-Assad) and to avoid discords.
