Syria wing al-Nusra Front, in video statement, said it had cut off water and
electricity supplies which feed the government-controlled Idlib city, in step
to push Syrian regime to release 40
female detainees.
The statement demanded Bashar
al-Assad regime to release 40 female students were arrested last week in Aleppo
University.
The masked speaker said that
Nusra Front with other rebel factions have also cut the roads connect Idlib city
with neighboring districts, calling on families to not send their girls to
study because “this regime can not be trusted,” added.
