22,000 people wanted to Assad's Political Security till first half of 2014: leaked list

(Zaman Al Wasl)- A new leaked list, obtained by Zaman al-Wasl, discloses names of 21571 people wanted to the powerful Political Security agency in Syria  till the first half of 2014.

The Political security Directorate is run by the Ministry of Interior, and considered the harshest security branch compared to the Air Force and Military security directorates.

This directorate can arrest its civilian police forces' members and officers, as the list contained number of them.

The Political Security Directorate concentrate on observing and following political orientations of people as it has huge archive contains information about most of Syrian people with their political interests and even personal and private information.

As part of its ongoing effort to breach the security system in of the Syrian Regime, Zaman al-Wasl is publishing the list of wanted people.

The Political Security’s Branches have practiced the toughest and the cruelest methods in suppressing Syrian people’s uprising, besides the unprecedented ways of torturing led in many cases to death.

Activists mentioned that malicious reports of accusations have returned, as people tried to revenge from each other using the political security branches.

The list contained only males from all provinces of Syria, even Sweida, which considered neutral.

There were many children of 12 years old, and elderly of 65 years of age within the list.

Zaman al-Wasl had published before lists of people wanted to other security branches, and will create a search engine specified for the list.
