Islam Army attacks rival group in Douma, dozens killed, arrested: statement

 

(Zaman Al Wasl) – Islam Army fighters in a sudden attack early Sunday have stormed strongholds of rival group Ummah Army in Douma city, killing and arresting most of its fighters, according to statement posted online.

Zahran Alloush, Commander of Islam Army and Unified Command of Eastern Ghouta, accused fighters of Ummah army of drug abuse, blaspheme and carrying out other assaults against jihadists in rebel-held city of Douma.

The statement said all bases of Ummah Army turned to be under rebels control without further information about the destiny of Abu Subhi Taha, commander of Ummah Army.
