(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syria's National Coalition has elected Khaled Khoja, its representative in Turkey, as the new president for the opposition group after three days of fevered meetings.
Sources say Khoja has good ties with regional countries. He is more pragmatic than his fellows what makes him able to make progress and reforms inside the opposition group.
Coalition members also agreed on the final list of Ahmed Tomeh’s interim government since many ministers had failed to win confidence vote last month.
