The French satirical magazine bloody attacks that happened Wednesday and killed 12 people, including the editor of the weekly magazine and two police officers, sparked anger and fury in France and across the world Thursday.
Politicians and people around the world held demonstrations in support of the French magazine, Charlie Hebdo.
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte spoke in Amsterdam, saying, “we do not allow fear to rule us.”
Dutch Deputy Prime Minister Lodewijk Asscher, Foreign Minister Bert Koenders, Security and Justice Minister Ivo Opstelten, Amsterdam Mayor Eberhard van der Laan and chief editors of major newspapers also attended the gathering condemning Wednesday's deadly attack in Paris.
In Russia, many gathered in front of the French Embassy in Moscow on Thursday. The crowds continued to place flowers and light candles to commemorate and pay tribute to those who died in the attack.
Approximately 500 people gathered in front the French Institute in the Greek capital of Athens. Mourners held banners, which read "Je Suis Charlie" -- a slogan that has become the main rallying cry of support for the magazine on social media and demonstrations since Wednesday.
In addition, most Italian papers dedicated Thursday their front pages to the deadly attack. Around 2,000 people also gathered in front of the French Embassy in Rome at Piazza Farnese square to pay tribute to the victims.
Head of the the Hungarian Islamic Community Bolek Zoltan also harshly condemned the Paris shooting attack and offered condolences to French Ambassador in Budapest Roland Galharague.
"Islam forbids terrorism, strictly. These murders are unacceptable. We condemn all kinds of terrorism," Zoltan said.
