(Zaman Al Wasl): Many refugees inside Syria announce hunger strike today Monday to force the revolution’s associations especially the National Coalition to fulfill their logical and human demands especially rescuing them from the snow storm and the crisis it caused to them.

One of the hunger strike’s organizer reported to Zaman al-Wasl that refugees have many demands, one of them request the President of the National Coalition and the Interim Prime Minister to visit them and see the harsh circumstances they live in. Besides many urgent demands like replacing all destroyed tents, secure sources of heat to each tent, provide flour, establish medical and teaching centers and form an executive committee, half of its staff should be from the displaced academics.

Displaced people listed demands called them “revolutionary” demands, like forming a directorate for injured people and documenting their names, forming a directorate for Martyrs’ children and their families within the Ministry of Local Administration, establish a higher body independent from the National Coalition, for inspection and observation, besides forming a body specialized in refugees’ affairs managed by the Interim Prime Minister, lastly, omitting all unnecessary Ministries within the Interim Government.

The displaced threatened of escalating the matter against the government and the National Coalition if they did not fulfill their demands. “that would have great effects either inside or outside Syria to force the opposition to comply by the displaced demands”, said Abdul Razzak Abdul Razzak, a participant in the hunger strike.

He mentioned that escalation would increase to reach to reject recognizing the Interim Government and refusing representing them by one of the its organizations.

Hunger strike would start Monday afternoon, escalation would be determined according to the National Coalition's and the Interim Government’s reaction.
