Local Emir of Jabhat al-Nusra, killed in Homs

Local Emir of Jabhat al-Nusra, an Iraqi, was killed by clashes with regime forces, activists in the town of al-Sekhna, east Reef Homs, reported to the London-based Human Rights observatory.

The Regime forces have been able to retake the town after clashes begun with al-Nusra when 2 suicide car-bombs were detonated by a checkpoint and security branch on Monday.

The Houla area was bombarded by regime forces. Clashes took place between rebels and regime, pro-regime militia and Hezbollah forces in the Khalidiya neighborhood, regime forces are also bombarding parts of the neighborhood. 1 civilian from the town of Izzedine was tortured to death while under regime detention.
