(Zaman Al Wasl)- The Coordination Body has
verbally agreed on a 6-point document sent by the National Coalition’s office
in Cairo. Khalid Khoja, the President of the National Coalition told Zaman al-Wasl
that he informed the Coalition’s members of the preparation for a meeting with
the Coordination Body and a 6-point document written by the Political Body of
the National Coalition, has been sent to the Coordination body via the
Coalition’s office in Cairo.
The Coalition’s president reported that
Coordination body has verbally agreed on the document, and the Coalition waits
for the written agreement. Khoja mentioned that the National Coalition decided
to initiate many steps to meet with the Coordination body in order to unite the
opposition’s efforts against the Syrian regime.
“As soon as the written agreement
arrived, we will form a delegation to find a common frame with the Coordination
body, which could help to gather other opposition’s parties” the Coalition’s
president detailed.
He refused mentioning any name of
the delegation and advised to ignore what the media publish in regard that.
Khoja explained that Coalition's Political committee would study and review any
step the national Coalition takes via frequent feedback.
Khalid Khoja considered that
meeting and getting close to other opposition’s bodies, either those left the
national Coalition or did not joined it in first place, is considered a vital
and essential principle of the Coalition to unite all efforts to face the
Syrian regime. Khoja added that meeting with the Coordination body has been a
continuation of long process started even before the latest election of the
Coalition.
