EU to appeal removal of Hamas from terror blacklist: Official

BRUSSELS (AFP) - The EU will appeal a December court decision ordering the removal of the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas from its terror blacklist, a spokesman said on Monday.

Foreign ministers from the 28 member states decided at a meeting on Monday "to appeal the judgement regarding Hamas remaining on the EU terrorist list," spokesman Susanne Kiefer said.
