(Zaman Al Wasl)- Dozens of people have been killed in barrel bomb attack on a village in the northern Syrian province of Hasakah, activists said on Tuesday.
Activist Seraj al-Haskawi said at
least 60 people have been killed and 100 others wounded when Bashar al-Assad's
warplanes carried out a deadly attack by barrel bombs on a crowded market in al-Khansaa village south of Tal
Hamees town.
The Syrian air force extended its intense aerial campaign against ISIS-held areas of the northern city of Hasakah last weeks, conducting a series of airstrikes that killed dozens of people.
The conflict began as a peaceful movement that morphed into a civil war that has killed more than 200,000 people and forced half the population to flee their homes.
