(Zaman Al Wasl)- Rebels of Syria’s
capital have threatened to breach the cease-fire truce if the siege would be
continue on the southern suburbs of Damascus.
Jihadist Shura Council, rebel
group, demanded Syrian regime to open Babbila crossing and to let aid and basic
food staples reach the starved towns of Babila, Beit Sahm and Yalda.
The council reprieved regime forces
3 days, saying the clashes to start again and all reconciliation efforts will
be without avail.
The siege on southern suburbs of
Damascus has been imposed 40 days ago as Bashar al-Assad regime has strongly
adopted starvation policy as a deadly weapon in the conflict erupted 4 years
ago.
