The Syrian National Coalition issued today an
“urgent appeal for relief efforts” for over 1,000 injured civilians in Qusair,
the western city that has been the site of fierce fighting between government
troops plus Hezbollah, and opposition forces. Reuters has been speaking to Malek
Ammar, an opposition activist in the besieged town, who said:
We have 700 people wounded in Qusair and 100 of them are being given oxygen. The town is surrounded and there's no way to bring in medical aid.
