(Zaman Al Wasl)- The United Revolutionary council in al-Hola region near Homscity demanded the National Coalition, Interim Government and Assistance Coordination unit helping them as Hola has been oppressed for ages.
The council forwarded an appeal letter to the National Coalition, Zaman al-Wasl obtained copy of, explained that Hola goes though a very difficult time under severe attack from Assad’s militias.
The appeal explained that regime’s Helicopters had been flying in Hola’s sky for two weeks, bombing civilians and killing children, women and elderly with barrel bombs and rockets. The appeal mentioned the massacre in Tal-dahab, which resulted in 20 deaths.
The council mention in the appeal that siege around the area is increasing day after day, making life difficult and essential materials like flour, sugar and rice are difficult to provide, and if found, extremely expensive.
“No money is left with people, which might affect their ability to hold on in their battle for freedom and dignity” appeal said. In the end, the council appealed all the revolutionary forces, charitable agencies and humanitarian organizations to do what they can to save Hola and its people.
More than 220,000 people have been killed since the conflict in Syria erupted in March 2011.
