(Zaman
Al Wasl)- The political body of the National Coalition has requested Hisham
Marwa to communicate with the Canadian body that replied the message sent by
the Embassy of the National Coalition in Doha in regard to renewing the expired
passports in the Embassy, and the Canadian body rejected the idea.
The
Political body has two days ago formed a committee consisted of Hisham Marwa,
Bader Jamous and Yahya Maktabi to communicate with many bodies in regard to
renewing passports: the committee that was sent to the Coalition’s Embassy in
Qatar and the Embassy itself, the Coalition’s member Nazir al-Hakim,
Ambassadors of Syria’s friend countries, and the Canadian body that rejected
the process of renewing passports.
The
meeting’s decisions those Zaman al-Wasl obtained, included communicating with
the United Nation (UN) to evaluate the possibility to issue passports from the
UN.
previously,
the president of the National Coalition Khalid Khoja confirmed to Zaman al-Wasl
that renewing passports in the Coalition’s Embassy in Doha has been put on hold
till checking the legality of the process on the other hand, Nizar al-Hiraki
confirmed that renewing process is still going on.
Many
people were angry from the way al-Hiraki dealt with the matter, and requested
his to resign or even to dismiss him, because they felt that renewing passports
with renewing stickers could put Syrians in troubles and accusation of forgery.
