Ousted opposition ambassador says dismissal is unjust

(Zaman Al Wasl)- The ousted opposition ambassador to Doha, in letter addressed to the head of National Coalition, said the dismissal decision on Tuesday was unjust and issued over a personal animosity.

Two-thirds of the Coalition's political body agreed unanimously to end Nizar al-Heraki mission in Doha, Zama al-Wasl reporter said.

Al-Heraki, who appointed as Coalition ambassador in Qatar 18 months ago, has been involved in any controversial issues ended by renewing stickers for Syrian expired passports where the legal committee and activists said the whole case is illegal.

Al-Heraki expressed surprise for the dismissal decision since he was preparing to meet with NC leader on Istanbul on Wednesday, according to his letter.

Activists said the renewing allegation is no more than a new way to sell lies to Syrian people abroad who escaped 4-year-old conflict.

Meanwhile, the West-backed group has been suffering mismanagement and lack of expertise what create a lot of difficulties to the most affiliated institutions.

More than 220,000 people have been killed since the conflict in Syria erupted in March 2011.
