(Zaman Al Wasl)- Pharmaceutical factories still work despite threat of explosive barrels factories in liberated areas face frequent attacks by the regime’s forces’ shelling and explosive barrels.

A manager of a medication factory speaks on condition of anonymity, tells Zaman al-Wasl that his factory have produced almost 60% of its productive capacity, and send many shipments to Aleppo’s areas to get the raw materials from regime in return.

The manager explains that rebels have prevented any armed activities around the factory, and they facilitate transportation and secure trucks’ routes for delivery.

The manager hinted that incidences of burglary against medications’ trucks have significantly decreased after the withdrawal of the Islamic state from Aleppo’s Western Countryside.

A responsible in a revolutionary battalion in Aleppo preferred not to mention his name reveals that they have standardized medications’ prices in liberated areas and organized distribution by forming a central store for medication where responsible receive the amount from factory and then distribute them to pharmacies.

A source revealed that amounts of medication were smuggled abroad most likely to Iraq, despite the urgent need, but rebels’ battalions try to stop such acts.

The source mentioned that almost 14 medication factories exist in the liberated areas and produce about 50% of their productive capacity, which almost cover the country’s needs, and secure more that 5000 jobs of 30 thousand Syrian pounds' salary.

Zaman al-Wasl is keen to keep the area where medication factories are situated unknown, to protect them from being bombed by regime’s forces.
