Rebels detonate main gas pipeline near Damascus

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Rebels have detonated Syria’s main gas pipeline near Damascus International Airport in Harran al-Wameed area, complete power outage resulted in the neighboring suburbs, activists said on Monday.

Dumeir local Coordination assured that a huge explosion heard after targeting the gas pipeline that supplies Tishreen Calorific Station, near the capital.

Social media pages loyal to the Nusra Front said that al-Qaeda Wing in Syria had launched two missiles on the regime-controlled airport in the Eastern Ghouta district. Nusra Front has not confirmed the attack.
