7 rebel fighters, including two defectors, killed in ambush in Eastern Qalamoun

(Zaman Al Wasl)- 7 rebel fighters, including two army defectors, were killed on Tuesday near Dumeir city in the eastern district of Qalamoun, Local Coordination Committee said.

Reports say rebels were ambushed by Syrian regime forces near the desert city of Dumeir.

Commander of Dumeir military airbase, Gen. Jayez Mousa agreed to release the bodies after mediation of Syrian Red Crescent.
