As a result of that financial situation, Samah Hadaya, the interim Minister of Education terminates contracts for many employees “26 one inside Syria and 7 outside”

Zaman al-Wasl obtained documents shows that many workers’ contracts were terminated in the Ministry of Defence and Education and their directorates.

Sources mentioned that Hadaya had appointed her relatives at high salaries as her assistance and Director of Art Directorate.

Number of sacked employees, who met by Zaman al-Wasl, said they were dismissed without any explanation. Moreover, they were not given their latest salaries and compensation. They requested the Chief of the National Coalition to issue an order to instruct the Interim Prime Minister to pay them their rights, as they all have families need support.

The former employees added that they did not know the rules the Interim Government followed, as when they demanded it to pay their salaries and compensation they were told “there is no money.”
