Photos: Tehran mourns Shiite militant killed in Daraa

(Zaman Al Wasl- Photos)-  Tehran mourned Tuesday senior militant who was killed in Daraa province last week as the Shiite fighters from Iran, Lebanon and Afghanistan launch for the first time their own battles south of Syria.

Naqeeb Allah Hazareh was a commander in the Iranian-backed Afghan Fatimeyoun militia.

Activists reported high causalities among Shiite fighters in their major offensive on Daraa and Quneitra provinces.

Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Iranian Quds Force, is believed to be the general commander, activists say.

Reports said that Iranian troops backed by Hezbollah fighters have carried on, and for the first time, full battles against rebels without any participation from the Assad side. Suleimani wants to eliminate FSA from the south, activists said.
