(Zaman Al Wasl)- The Political body of the Syrian National Coalition has drafted a reforming plan for its duties and execution plans.
Zaman al-Wasl has exclusively obtained a draft plan for reshaping and reforming the Political Body, where it would consist of the president, his deputies besides the secretary-general, while the remaining 15 members would be secretly elected from nominated members of the General Body.
The Political body’s members should be committed to the body as full-time employees. They should elect a Secretary to facilitate the body’s duties and communicate and cooperate with other bodies of the National Coalition.
The NC’s Political Body meets every 10 days, while urgent meeting are called upon the President’s request and a third of the Body’s members, the quorum would be considered completed when the majority of members attend. Full-time members of the Political Body would receive monthly lump-sum of money determined by the Presidency panel.
As the Political Body is elected from the General body of the National Coalition, it is responsible for shaping the Coalition’s political agenda, strategic future vision and the execution plans, besides many other duties.
Then it forward plans to the General body to
acknowledge or modify them. The Political body is responsible for implementing
acknowledged plans and suggestion.
