(Zaman Al Wasl)- Islamist rebels have made gains on the northern front of Aleppo, taking control of Tal Handarat and al-Madhafa districts, activists said on Saturday.
Ahrar al-Sham movement and al Qaeda Syria's wing, the Nusra Front, backed by other rebel groups have controlled the strategic Tal Handarat and al-Madhafa after fierce battles with Bashar al-Assad forces and its allied Shiite militias.
