(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels on Monday have thwarted an attack launched by Syrian regime forces and its allied militia National Defense (NDF) on al-Tadamon neighborhood south of Damascus, rebel source told Zaman al-Wasl.
Commander of Ansar al-Islam Front (Dubbed: Abu Ridha) said his fighters have also recaptured buildings were controlled by regime forces in al-Tadamon after fierce clashes. 3 NDF militants had been killed and many wounded, he added.
According to Abu Wisam al-Zoubi, the neighborhood’s spokesman, Ansar al-Islam commander had refused Syrian regime’s proposal for a long-term truce days ago.
