At least 15 people, including two rebel commanders, were killed late on Tuesday when an Islamic State suicide bomber stormed their meeting in Marea town north of Aleppo, activists said.
Pro-ISIS Twitter news feeds praised the suicide attack that targeted meeting of Liwa al-Tawhid, a rebel group affiliated to al-Shamiya Front.
Another car bomb struck the town of Hor Kalas in northern countryside of Aleppo, leaving number of casualties amid reports of an offensive by the extremist group to capture Bab al Salameh border crossing with Turkey.
