Coalition delays its meetings according to political tour

 National Coalition goes on rapid visits and meetings from Paris to the United Nations headquarters after that to Doha; the political tour will be continued, according to source to Zaman Alwasl.

 A coalition source said that the upcoming political board meeting will discuss the outcomes of mobilizing the efforts the International community regarding the Syrian conflict and get more support politically and in armament issue.

  During the Holy month of Ramadan, which almost close to end, the board members are thinking to visit the refugee camps in Jordan and Turkey, although there are other camps in Lebanon and Iraq and should get more interest.

 The National Coalition had elected its political commission in 10 July which supposed to participate the new president, the decisions he will take, it consisted of:    Ahmed Jarba, and his deputies Mohamed Farouk Tayfur, Suheir Atassi, Salem al-Muslet, the Secretary-General Badr Jamous, (Louay Safi, Abdul Basit Sida, Mowaffak Nyrabia, Micheal Kilo, Kamal al-Hadi Naba'a, Anas al-Abdeh, Fayez Sarah, Mona Mostafa, Zakaria Sakkal, Nazir al-Hakim, Akram Assaf, Munther Makhos, Ahmed Ramadan.

 It's noteworthy that Sheikh Mouaz al-Khatib, former coalition president, was nominated for the Political board of the Coalition but he didn't achieve the required quorum.

 On July 31, the United Nations said an estimated 6.8 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance in Syria.

Syria's conflict began in March 2011 largely as peaceful protests against Assad's rule. It escalated into a civil war after opposition supporters took up arms to fight a brutal government crackdown on dissent.

More than 150,000 people have been killed in the conflict, according to Syrian Human rights NGO's.
