In statement posted online, the Islamic Union of Ajnad Al-Sham declared war on the Islamic State, saying all bases and strongholds of the extremist group in the southern suburbs of Damascus are a legitimate target.
Ajnad al-Sham group, which operates south of the capital, said, " we have hesitated to eliminate ISIS because we preferred to save arms and ammunition for our main enemy (Bashar al-Assad regime), But the aggression and savagery of ISIS pushed us to continue our war against it."
The statement called on ISIS fighters to surrender, otherwise they will be under fire."
