Southern Front rebels on Monday have thwarted Syrian forces' attack on Bosr al-Harir town in the eastern countryside of Daraa province, inflicting heavy losses, activists said.
Bashar al-Assad's forces and his allied Shiite militias carried out a surprise attack on eastern countryside of Daraa to recapture territory seized by rebels few weeks ago.
Rebels, who were ready for the attack, have killed dozens and destroyed at 7 tanks, Activists said.
