Syrian activist Asaad Hanna has escaped death when an unidentified man stabbed him in front of his house in Turkey, according to statement posted on his Facebook page Tuesday.
Hanna said the unknown man knocked on his door and as soon as he opened the man stabbed him four times in the stomach without making any attempt to steal or loot, indicating that the attack was planned.
The activist was subjected to many death threats in the last few months.
Hanna did not reveal who threatened him or how and where.
