Leaked Report: Assad's intelligence carried out Reyhanli car bombs 2013

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Despite of Syrian denial of being responsible for two car bombs which killed 56 people in a Turkish border town of Reyhanli in May 2013, Zaman al-Wasl has obtained a conclusive evidence approved that Syrian intelligence who stood behind the attack.

A confidential intelligence report by 331 branch issued on May 24 2013 revealed how agents affiliated to the Syrian security services had arranged the two car-bomb attack on Reyhanli.

Syrian Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi on May 12 2013 said his country "did not commit and would never commit such an act because our values would not allow that". But Ankara said it suspects the involvement of Syrian intelligence.

The car bombs ripped the heart out of this market town which sits right on Turkey's border with Syria. Some of those killed were Syrian refugees but most of the fatalities were local Turks.
