Hasan Shandi, Kurdish opposition figure, last Friday has appealed to the Kurdish community and human rights organizations for seizing his father’s house and farm in Efrin in Aleppo countryside by the Democratic Union party (PYD).
Shandi told Zaman al-Wasl that members from the Kurdish People’s Protection Unit (PYG) have given his family a week notice to evacuate the house and leave the farm for no particular reason, that act was a part of the ongoing robbery and stealing operations against public and private properties.
“My mother told them that my family has no contact with me, but the PYG’s militia told her to come to me to Kurdistan to rent them a house” Shandi detailed.
Shandi resembled the PYG’s acts to the occupying operations of Israel in Palestine, and other militias acts like Kurdistan Workers’ Party and Hezbollah, which force their wills by arms.
Shandi mentioned that he has changed his house three times after receiving threats because of his appearance on the “Opposite Direction” show on Al Jazeera in October 2014, in which he contradicted the PKK and its branches. “I am their most hated enemy because I have opposed them since 2005 and written against them in news papers and contradicted their loyalty to regime.”
The Syrian Kurdish politician confirmed that (PYD) has started getting rid of everything and anybody related to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in Efrin after taking its control from the Syrian regime, beside killing hundreds of people and displacing thousands during the Syrian revolution.
