Idlib rebels seize two Army posts east Ariha


Fatah Army on Tuesday has pressed more advances on the eastern front of Ariha town in Idlib province, taking control of two Syrian army posts, Zaman al-Wasl reporter said.

The alliance of Islamist groups, including
al-Qaeda wing the Nusra Front, has taken control of Buthaina and Biout Abdulhai checkpoints in al-Arbaeen Mount east of Ariha.

Rebels also have launched an attack on al- Qayyasat camp near the international roadthat links to Latakia province. Fatah Army fighters seek to cut the supply route connect Bashar al-Assad's forces with the strategic town of Ariha and al-Mastouma camp, the reporter said.

Since Thursday, Idlib rebels have engaged in heavy fighting on the enclaves of Latakia province in areas close to al-Assad's ancestral home, the army and rebels said.
Rebels, who captured Jisr al-Shughour town early this week, seek a complete-liberated province of Idlib, such a mission that seems not impossible.

In response, Syrian air force has continued the fiercest aerial campaign on Idlib countryside. 5 people were killed in al-Hamidiya village and 40 others wounded in bbarrel-bomb attack Monday.

Fatah Army is a reference to the conquests that spread Islam across the Middle East from the 7th century.

Syria's four-year-old war has killed more than 220,000 people and forced millions out of their homes.
