Hama: FSA takes two villages from regime army in Ghab plain

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels took two villages from regime army on Monday in al-Ghap Plain in central Hama province, local activists told Zaman al-Wasl.

Free Syrian Army (FSA) backed by Jund al-Aqsa Brigade seized control of Kharbet al-Naqus and al-Hakura villages in surprise attack.

Two brothers from al-Jabarah family from Idlib were on opposing sides of the battle. One was in the ranks of Jund al-Aqsa and the other one was fighting in regime forces.

After al-Aqsa fighters capture of Kharbet al-Naqus, they held a number of Assad fighters as captives only to realize one of them was Jabarah.

Bashar al-Assad who inherited the rule from his father have led Syrians to kill one another as he launched a war on the Syrian population.

Syria's political division has resulted in many tragic incidents such as the one of al-Jabarah family. In Raqqa, a son slaughtered his mother for being supposedly an “apostate”.

In Idlib, many families were divided into different affiliations. Some young men joined the ranks of Isis where as their brothers and sibilinds fight in the FSA or al-Nusra Front ranks to face each other in many battles and kill each other.

It should be noticed that some young men from liberated areas have been detained or missing. They might have brainwashed in order to join the military ranks of Assad in his war against the revolution and the Syrian population. In many instances, the soldiers would not know who they are fighting and hence many soldiers were shot in the back due to their refusal to fight their own population.

Syrians fight to topple the Assad regime and to recapture their freedom by fighting the Iranian and western proxy war in Syria a very expensive price.
One million and a half Syrians are killed or handicapped. Half of the population are displaced. Two million houses were destroyed and economic loss has gone beyond 250 billion dollars.

According to Syrian research centers, the victims’ number reached 485 thousand whereas the injured are 1.88 Million. 11.5% of the Syrian population are either killed or injured at the end of 2015.

Average life expectancy at birth decreased from 70.5 in 2010 to 55.4 in 2015. 45.2% of Syrian students did not enroll in schools in 2015. 45% of the population are displaced internally and externally.

Assad and his allies obstructing the negotiations today will only increase the tragedy and plight of Syrians and push for more revengeful acts and violence.
