(Zaman Al Wasl)- Almost 10,000 people have fled the ongoing clashes between the U.S.-backed Syria Democratic Forces (SDF) and ISIS in the northeastern Raqqa province to the border towns of Tal Abyad and Ayn Issa, said a military source from Thwar al-Raqqa Brigade.
The source told Zaman al-Wasl, “the relief office subordinate to Thwar al-Raqqa worked to secure the migrants which arrived in its controlled areas with the resources at hand,” clarifying that more than 3000 migrants arrived in areas under the control of Thwar al-Raqqa which did not participate in the battle until now.
The source added the migrants are distributed in all the villages of Ayn Issa town and Tal Abyad city in the schools and government buildings, former Bath Party buildings or at their relatives in addition to the houses of ISIS personnel who fled the area. He estimated that these places can host 25000 migrants.

Kurdish administration officials said around 6000 civilians from the migrants who fled the battles are staying outside in cotton center near Ayn Issa city and villages of Saida, al-Shayhan, and al-Shakrak in very difficult humanitarian conditions and absence of humanitarian and international organizations.
On the fronts, clashes continued between ISIS and SDF militia on the axis of Khaneez Janubi and International Coalition warplanes bombed areas in the village, according to local sources.
According to the sources, (SDF) militias captured Jadu al-Amair village following clashes with ISIS on the axis of Ayn Issa-Tal Saman and a car bomb struck the attackers, however, that did not stop the militia, which People Protection Units (YPG) functions as the main armed force, to capture Tal al-Saman village despite blockade, according to local sources.
