44 troops from Tartus killed in June: pro-regime media
(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 44 troops from coastal Tartus province were killed in June, pro-regime news feeds said.

Most of slain soldiers have been killed by Daesh and rebels in eastern and southern Syria.

The death toll included 10 army officers, two of them were Major Generals.

The Alawites-dominated areas are still the main manpower supply for Bashar al-Assad's regime. The mourning posters and statements have been sweeping the streets and social media pages.

More than 125,000 pro-regime forces have been killed in seven years of brutal war, according to local monitoring groups.
