 Tartus: 17 regime forces killed in August
(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 17 regime forces  from coastal Tartus province were killed in August, pro-regime news feeds reported.

Most of slain soldiers have been killed by Daesh and rebels in eastern and southern Syria.

The death toll included 4 army officers, one of them was Major General.

The Alawites-dominated areas are still the main manpower supply for Bashar al-Assad's regime. 

More than 125,000 pro-regime forces have been killed in seven years of brutal war, according to local monitoring groups.
